Professional Experience
I have undertaken many roles over the years eg pregnancy support counselling, individual and couples counselling, perinatal mental health, domestic violence counselling, and mentoring other clinicians.
My work has also encompassed counselling highly marginalised clients with complex issues at a community centre and for many years I was the coordinator of a women’s crisis refuge. Additionally, I have many years’ experience supervising counselling students and in providing supervision and ongoing training for staff in organisations.
I utilise evidence based practises and provide interventions based on the client’s expressed issues, needs and goals.
I am passionate about supporting clients to overcome obstacles they are experiencing and collaboratively work towards their personal growth, satisfaction, and wellbeing.
Faith-based Experience
I have worked and volunteered in numerous church roles over the years, providing pastoral care for parishioners, mentoring volunteer teams, organising guest speakers for church events and working as a Kids pastor for the Church of Christ. I am passionate about helping people grow in their faith to live their best possible lives.
