Counselling is about me connecting with you to help you discover and step into your strong, authentic and vulnerable selves. Whatever our pasts, I believe we all have the courage within us to forge deeper connections to our selves and others. We sometimes just need someone to come alongside us in our journey.
Professional Experience
I am constantly developing my skills through professional development with a particular interest in trauma, relationship, and grief counselling.
With my undergraduate background in Biochemistry, I continue to be fascinated by the overlap between therapy, human functioning and the new findings in neuroscience research, and incorporate this creatively into my work.
Faith-based Experience
I believe in the presence of the Holy Spirit as two or more gather in the counselling space. God is living and active and uses our everyday situations, even our suffering and hardships, to grow, change and restore us. My Christian faith informs my practice in the way I view people and journey with them to seek truth in their own lives.
